Smoky Mountains RV Campgrounds
Newsletter March 2008
(Issue #2008 - 01)

Spring is just around the corner and the anticipation for the upcoming 2008 season is building. Most of the seasonal parks will be opening around March 15th. The thing we would like to stress in this months Newsletter is the importance of getting your reservations made now. RVing has been growing rapidly in popularity due mostly to the "Go RVing" ad campaign. The RV Manufacturers have helped as well with their many new creature comforts that they have added to their models. Not to mention the "Baby Boomers" retiring at an alarming rate with their first priority to travel. Combined with the fact that the Smoky Mountains is the #1 most visited National Park in the USA. More and more attractions are being added for your enjoyment. This area is known for it's family friendly environment and has been growing in approval as a family vacation destination. With all of these factors influencing the area, we strongly recommend booking your dates A.S.A.P.. Do not wait until the last minute and expect your favorite campground to still be available -- especially on holiday weekends. Yes there are many campgrounds in the area, but with everything to do and see, there is something for everyone - spots will go fast. So, please take our advice and book your campground early so you will not be disappointed!!!

Our Highlight for this months Newsletter is
TBS Adventures.

They really serve a need for this area. No one in the Smoky Mountains area rents Travel Trailers. There are a couple of places who rent pop-ups. Not only will TBS Adventures deliver the Travel Trailer to the campground - they are fully furnished with dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, and silverware.

Other amenities include microwave, full size refrigerator, TV, DVD Player, hot water heater, central heat /air, shower, full size toilet, oven, and stove.

All of their fleet are newer models (2005-2006) and well maintained and very clean. Just bring your bedding and food and have a great time without all the worries and expense of towing your own.

Don't have your own RV ? What a great way to "test the waters" before you buy one. These folks really make your stay more enjoyable.

Make your reservations now as you can imagine they book up fast. Visit their website at www.tbsadventures.com for more detailed information.
